A silly question answered.

You know those silly questions that you get asked every now and then...the ones that start like this: If you had an unlimited supply of money what would you do with it? Well, today I know exactly what I would *selfishly* do with it. I would use it to redecorate my home.

Every Spring I get like this. The decorating bug bites hard and I find it difficult not to drool over decorating websites, magazines and shows...and don't even get me started on how hard it is to steer my butt over to the diaper aisle rather then the home decor area at the store.

I love everything about decorating. I love decorating my face (makeup) and nails, my body (clothes and shoes), my home, even my food (garnishing, etc.). It's something that I can start and finish and see the final result. I've always been like that. One of my favorite channels to watch on TV growing up was HGTV - I loved watching people start with an ugly room and watch it transform into a gorgeously decorated piece of art. Fashion and human makeover shows came in at close second. ;)

I seriously can't wait to own a house where I can paint the walls and hopefully have more space to make it our very own. I'm looking forward to making Simon's room special and fun and making our room romantic and comfy. I just wish it didn't cost so darn much. I guess I'll just have to get creative with my spending; go garage saleing/thrift store shopping and make friends with criagslist. But oh it would be so much easier and way more fun to go on

  1. Hello! I love your blog design (esp. the owl) - so I couldn't help but follow your blog. =)

I get bit by the "decor bug" each spring as well. Target is my worst nemesis!
